AHLF Leadership will send an introduction email and survey to AHLF members interested in participating in the program, and provide guidelines to initiating and establishing a mentor relationship.
For AHLF members, sign up to be a mentor or mentee!
“My experience as a mentee in the AHLF mentorship program has expanded my network and helped me transition from graduate school into the professional ranks. Learning about a former Administrative Fellow’s path and experiences is invaluable as I proceed down my own. In the future and to pay it forward, I plan to do the same for other emerging individuals.”
– Ben Chao, Administrative Fellow, MultiCare
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from hearing about previous work experiences and advice from my mentor, Teresita Batayola. It’s very helpful to have a mentor who has worked in different organizations besides MultiCare to have objective, frank conversations about career and personal life. We have met twice so far, but have a regular monthly cadence through 2018. Teresita has already helped to continue to build my network outside of just coworkers. I look forward to continuing to build the relationship and exploring other topics around career development and growth. Without AHLF, I never would have met the great Asian-American healthcare leaders and role models we have in the Puget Sound.”
