Research of successful diverse healthcare leaders indicates they have skills and attributes that make them well-suited for leadership in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) times. In this interactive webinar, Gina L. Calder, FACHE, administrator, Milford Campus, Yale New Haven Health System/vice president, Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital, will share examples of these skills in the context of leading part of her organization’s COVID-19 response. Her experiences, supported by research, will inspire webinar participants to embrace their strengths for navigating through their own VUCA environments.
Additionally, Calder will share how her successful leadership through two previous organizational crises prepared her for this pandemic and why her organization knew to look to her for leadership at this unprecedented time.
After the webinar, participants will be able to continue the conversation and connect with other diverse healthcare leaders on the Executive Diversity Career Navigator.
