AHLC Mentorship Program

AHLC Leadership will send an introduction email and survey to all current members at the beginning of the calendar year, to establish interest and determine who could serve as potential mentors. If you are interested in participating as a mentor or mentee in this program, please email ahlcwa@gmail.com.

“My experience as a mentee in the AHLC mentorship program has expanded my network and helped me transition from graduate school into the professional ranks. Learning about a former Administrative Fellow’s path and experiences is invaluable as I proceed down my own. In the future and to pay it forward, I plan to do the same for other emerging individuals.”
– Ben Chao, Administrative Fellow, MultiCare
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from hearing about previous work experiences and advice from my mentor, Teresita Batayola. It’s very helpful to have a mentor who has worked in different organizations besides MultiCare to have objective, frank conversations about career and personal life. We have met twice so far, but have a regular monthly cadence through 2018. Teresita has already helped to continue to build my network outside of just coworkers. I look forward to continuing to build the relationship and exploring other topics around career development and growth. Without AHLC, I never would have met the great Asian-American healthcare leaders and role models we have in the Puget Sound.”
– Emily Law Yu, Director – Retail Clinics & Virtual Health, MultiCare
